Areas of Learning: Geography

Curriculum Team:

The teaching of Geography uses a thematic approach to learning and when ever possible cross curricular links are made with other subject areas.

Classroom displays reflect work covered in Geography.

Wherever possible the local area is used as a resource as in the study of coastal erasion by Y6.

Work demonstrates how the global dimension can be embedded across the curriculum including maths,literacy, history, science and ICT. 

The school holds the International Schools' Award and has strong links within Europe and the wider world.
